Freedom

We made deviled eggs with these beauties.
I've been given the wonderful opportunity to enjoy my friends chicken village without the work or expense. It's like borrowing kids for a day, all the fun and no stress.

I noticed there is a pecking order. The big gold rooster comes out halfway through. I'm going to take more videos and compare them.

Cabbage Moth Eggs

Do you see those spots on the broccoli leaf?
It's cabbage moth eggs!
I should say was a cabbage moth. I noticed the moths happily flying around the garden at the same time as the cheery blossoms were drifting to the ground. And I said to myself, " I'm going to check the plants in a few weeks.

Here is a comparison of the trail one month later

Foxglove in the woods

Aren't they beautiful?

There is a lot to be said for just letting it go. If you look closely there is a raccoon trail leading from the woods and ending up at the cat bowl.

Welcome
I would like to entertain you while also entertaining myself.

It seems the thing to do.

My youngest son fashioned this array of found objects the morning of his birthday. He wanted to spend the night outside to get away from the electronics. When he had left the tent and been sitting on the beach awhile... i had gone for a walk to the south looking for treasure...he yelled out " This is the best birthday ever. I saw a seal,a fish and a yellow bird.
